Surprise! I didn’t think these products would come in until Monday, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the mailbox today. I saw this package from Jeffree Star Cosmetics and my new camera card that I ordered, so I am back to using my Canon for my blog. I wanted to show the products I got, so enjoy this little unboxing haul!
Jeffree Star is a makeup artist who has a very large online presence. He started his cosmetic’s brand on Black Friday in 2014. I did not know about him, until recently. I love that his brand is Indie and he keeps everything true to himself. Jeffree takes a lot of time to perfect the formulas of his products before he puts them out. I am very excited to try the two things I purchased.
My initial thoughts when opening this was how beautiful the packaging is! I love the pink, black, and gold accents. His logo is really clean, yet eye catching. When you open the package, you can see that each item is individually wrapped with pink bubble wrap, and then a layer of tissue paper. I really appreciate when brands take time to package everything nicely, so things don’t break. Especially because this package was shipped across the country. The inside of the box also included a postcard about his Summer Chrome Collection, which is available now on his website.
The compact for the Skin Frost is HUGE; I’m really not exaggerating. It comes with 0.53 oz. of product. Just to compare, the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter contains 0.28 oz. The Velour Liquid Lipstick was pretty average in size, in comparison to other high end brands. The Skin Frost retails for $29.00, which is a good price for the amount of product you are getting. The Velour Liquid Lipstick retails for $18.00. The Skin Frost compact also comes with a mirror, which is great for travel. I included swatches of the two products below.
As always, if you would like a review on either of these products, leave a comment below. Be sure to like this post and follow my blog if you want to see more unboxings!
