Tutorial: Evergreen Eyes ft. Winky Lux Kitten Palette

IMG_3824

I feel like it’s been so long, since I’ve done a tutorial! I really love the colors in the palette featured in the November Boxycharm. I wanted to include the color ‘9 Lives’, which is a beautiful evergreen shade, and the color ‘Holographic’, because of the iridescent green in the pink. I hope you enjoy this post!

I started by applying a base shade called ‘Duchess’ just to neutralize the lid from any veins peering through. I used a basic blending brush to swipe this color on.

After I applied the all over lid color, I started to work on deepening my crease. To do this, I used the shade “Strut”, which is a warm-toned camel color. This color was very rich and buttery, so a little goes a long way. I used the same blending brush to apply this shade.

This next color, called ‘Holographic’ was the one that caught my eye from the beginning, it is so rich, and I love that it has blue and green reflect in it. I applied this on the inner half of my eye and under my brow bone. I used a small packing brush.

Green really complements ‘Holographic’ well, so I used the evergreen shade called ‘9 Lives’. I concentrated this shade in the outer V of my eye, and used a small packing brush to apply this.

Here is the completed look! I’m really happy with the way it turned out. I added a small wing of liner and mascara to finish the eye.

I hope you guys give this look a try, and if you do, please take a photo and send it in the comments section! Don’t forget to like this post if you want to see more reviews, and follow my blog for more beauty insight!
