FAVORITES: November 2017

December is one of my favorite months because I love the Holiday season, so I couldn’t be more excited that we are moving out of November. I did not have as many products as usual, because I have been trying to vary up what I use, but below is what I consistently reached for this past month.

MAC Powder Blush in ‘Breath of Plum’
This is my favorite blush to wear in the fall and winter. MAC describes it as a light plum, which I would agree with. I love that it’s a sheer tone blush, so it’s easy to buff, and is also buildable. It’s very flattering and would work on a lot of different skin tones.

Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlight in ‘Prosecco Pop’
You all know how much I’ve been loving this highlighter. I’ve been wearing it every day, because it’s so blinding and beautiful. A little goes a long way, but the creamy formula is a dream to work with, so it would be great to try whether you are starting out, or have been using makeup for a while.
*Spoiler Alert! I recently purchased the Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème Highlighter in ‘Champagne Pop’, so a review is coming soon.

Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder
This is all around a great setting powder. It is finely milled, and sits so well on the skin. If you need to reapply during the day, it’s always easy to add more on top of what you already have on. I also appreciate that it doesn’t flash back in photos, because that’s a pet peeve of mine. I could not say enough good things about this powder.

Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in ‘Fair’
I received this foundation from Influenster for testing purposes over the summer, and I have to say I am still loving it! I’ve been wearing other foundations on and off, and I still find this one covers up all the imperfections on my skin the best! I also appreciate how light the fair shade is, because I often find the lightest shades in many foundation ranges are still too dark for me.

Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara
It’s been a few years since I’ve used this mascara, and I forgot how much I like it. It’s a very wet formula, but I love how each bristle on the wand picks up my lashes and really curls them. This is great if you are looking for volume.

I hope you enjoyed this favorites post! Don’t forget to like this if you want me to continue doing my monthly favorites, and follow my blog for more beauty insight!
