IS IT WORTH IT?: Pixi by Petra Products

Today’s post is extra special because it’s a 3-in-1 ‘Is It Worth It?’! I’ve been testing out the Pixi by Petra products that I did a haul for back in January. A lot of people requested a review of them, and I finally have my thoughts on everything!

Pixi by Petra Makeup Fixing Mist: $15.00
This is my favorite of the three products I tried from Pixi. It is a great setting spray that keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. It does have a very strong rose scent so just keep that in mind if you don’t like the scent. I personally love it, so it doesn’t bother me at all! I think the price is very reasonable for the amount of product you get, and I would highly recommend it! The Makeup Fixing Mist is worth it!

Pixi by Petra H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel: $9.00
I was really hoping this would be a good gel moisturizer that was similar to the Clinique one, but it just left my skin feeling very greasy and slick. This might be great if you have extremely dry skin, but for my combination skin it didn’t work. The Pure Hydration Gel is not worth it.

Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen in ‘Black Noir’: $11.99
This eyeliner is so creamy and easy to use in the water line. It’s also very pigmented and stays on throughout the day. My only complaint is that the pencil is so soft that I feel like I’m constantly sharpening it and running out of it so quickly. It isn’t as expensive as the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil, which I would say is pretty comparable and is more expensive, so I think it is still worth buying the Pixi pencil. The Silky Eye Pen is worth it.

Overall I am very impressed with the Pixi brand. I think they have some really great products, that feel expensive, but aren’t a ridiculous price. I’m really interested to try their pressed highlighters and the infamous Glow Tonic!
