I’m so happy it’s May because that means finals are over and I am home for the summer! April was an amazing month, I celebrated my 21st birthday and had so much fun surrounded by friends and family. I hope you had a great month and enjoy reading about the products I was using a ton!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette: $54.00
This palette is forgotten about so much. There are so many people who own it and it has such amazing neutral colors. With constant new collections coming out and so many eyeshadow palettes available, I feel the Naked Palette sometimes gets overlooked. I love these colors, they are such beautiful rose gold shades, and are so bridal and natural. They blend so easily, and I hope these palettes start getting used more in the media.
Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define in ‘C3’: $7.00
I’m a little late to the game considering its been a few months since this concealer broke the internet. It’s been compared to the Tarte Shape Tape. I don’t completely agree with that, because I think the Tarte Shape Tape is very full coverage, even compared to this concealer. This one, however, is amazing for everyday. It is still more full coverage than other concealers, but is a little lighter of a formula than Tarte Shape Tape. I highly recommend this one, especially if you want to save a few extra dollars!
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in ‘Princess Cut’: $29.00
I have seen so many influencer’s wear these highlighters and it always looks so blinding. I couldn’t seem to get it to look like that, until I used a denser highlighting brush, instead of a fan brush. Now, I can build it up and have it look more subtle, or be a really intense glow, depending on how I’m feeling. This shade is such a beautiful cool tone pink, and will look amazing on fair complexions. I’m definitely going to take this traveling, since it has such a large mirror, and can be used as a compact!
Nars Blush in ‘Orgasm’: $30.00
This is such a staple for people, and it’s because it such a beautiful peachy-pink. It has gold reflects, and is so flattering. It’s very easy to blend, and has a lot of pigment. I’ve had this one for a while and every time I use it, I’m always reminded of how great it is.
Kylie Cosmetics Lip Gloss in ‘Literally’: $15.00
This is still my favorite gloss that I have. It’s the perfect nude, and has a lot of pigment for a gloss. It is a little on the sticky side, but it is really easy to get a good layer of gloss, that isn’t glittery, but looks wet and makes your lips look juicy.
I’m going to try my best to do a May favorites post, but I will be in Italy, so it’s probably going to be a lot of products that were in my ‘What’s in my Travel Bag’ post. Please like this if you want me to continue with my monthly favorites series, and follow my blog for more beauty insight!
