After a couple months of traveling, I’m finally home! I was reflecting on the past two months and decided to show off some of the products I really loved using while I was away. With such a limited selection of products, I relied heavily on these things. I hope you enjoy reading!
Morphe 15D Eyeshadow Palette: $15.00
Morphe has some of the best eyeshadow palettes, and they aren’t too expensive. This was one of the three palettes I chose to bring with me to Italy. It was so easy to create beautiful warm eye looks. It was also easy to add drama by deepening the outer eye using some of the darker colors in the palette. The eyeshadows are easy to blend, and they are rich in pigment. I’m also very happy Morphe decided to redo their packaging. The palettes are much sturdier now and the big mirror came in handy when I was in hotels and on the go.
Benefit Mini Travel Set: $26.00
I purchased a mini travel set of benefit blushes and bronzers before leaving, and they were very convenient to use throughout my trip. I had a variety of blushes to choose from, without them taking up too much space. The set is no longer available at Ulta, but I recommend investing in mini products if you are traveling soon. My favorite two products were the Hoola bronzer featured on the left above, which is a smooth, matte bronzer. The other product was the new Gold Rush blush, because it’s a beautiful peach with soft gold shimmer. It’s very light, and it also smells like peach nectar, which I love!
Tarte Brighter Days Moisturizer: $32.00 (for full size)
I got a sample size of this moisturizer about a year ago and hadn’t really tried it. It’s really beautiful to put on underneath foundation, to give a dewy glow to the skin. It would also be really beautiful on it’s own without foundation!
The BrowGal Eyebrow Gel: $20.00
I was never really into eyebrow gels prior to using this one, because I like really structured and tailored brows. When I tried this, I started by combing it over product I already was using in my brows, just to keep hairs in place. I really love how it looks when I do that, and have now even transitioned to using it on it’s own when I have really light makeup on.
Those are the products that were really useful while traveling, and I hope this helps if you are going away soon, or just need some new recommendations for makeup to buy.
