FAVORITES: January 2019

January felt like the longest month ever! I’ve been busy getting ready for grad school interviews, and working hard in my classes to make sure I graduate with a strong GPA! I have also been trying to balance some fun with friends, and one of the things I’m looking forward to is Spring Break! I’ve been really focusing on taking care of my skin, because we are going to a tropical island and I want to be glowing! I’m thinking about doing a skincare routine for problem skin, so let me know if that would be something you’re interested in down in the comments! I have been using a few products pretty consistently, so I’m going to share them below.

I love when the drugstore has products comparable to high end products! I absolutely love this foundation. It’s matte and very full coverage, but doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry, which is a problem I run in to during the winter months. They have about 28 shades, which is okay, although I wish it had a few more. However, it really does sit nice on the skin, just beware of oxidizing, so go a shade lighter!

IMG_4523.JPGMorphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault Collection ‘Bling Boss’ Palette: $15.00
I thought the palette I would gravitate towards the most in the Vault Collection would have been the ‘Ring the Alarm’ palette, but I have been reaching mostly for the ‘Bling Boss’ palette! It includes some beautiful cool tone rose gold shades, and purples. I did a really beautiful eye look using the lighter rosey shades, and the dark black, for my sororities bid day theme! The quality of the eyeshadows is consistent with other Morphe shadows, and definitely worth the money!

IMG_4535Morphe Continuous Setting Mist: $16.00
I never thought I would feel so strongly about a setting spray, but I really feel the Morphe one is the best of all that I have tried. The continuous nozzle sprays the product on very evenly. I also have received so many compliments on how good it smells. It refreshes my makeup, and also saves any look that looks to dry and powdery!

Those are the three products I really wanted to include as staples this month! I hope you enjoy reading and let me know if you try any of them in the comments section! Don’t forget to follow my blog for more beauty insight.
