FAVORITES: February 2019

I’m a little late with my February favorites, but I definitely want to make sure I include these products, because they have really been working for me. I’ve been trying to do less makeup for class, and when I’m just hanging out with friends. Because of this, I’ve been looking for products that help create dewy skin, and then a little bit of mascara and eyeliner for a pop on the eyes, with bronzer in the crease and on the face. These four products have helped me achieve that look, and I hope you learn a little bit about why I love them!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Slimlight in ‘Soft Luminous White’: $14.00 (Originally $28.00)
Because I was going to be in the Bahamas for Spring Break, I wanted cream products I could apply when we were outside during the day. I really don’t like being on the beach with cakey makeup on, so I tried to avoid powder. I picked this up at TJ Maxx, and so far I love it! The color has a beautiful sheen to it, and it is the perfect color to highlight the inner corner, down the bridge of the nose, and above the lip. Because its a creme stick, it’s very easy to precisely place on your face.

Covergirl Flourish by Lash Blast Mascara: $6.64
I picked this mascara up at Ulta out of curiosity, because I had never seen it before. I have been sticking exclusively to drugstore mascara, because I feel they work just as well as high end. This mascara did not disappoint, and I really feel like my lashes get both volume, and length, while separating each one individually. My lashes are long, but tend to stick together, so the fact that the wand does such a good job of coating each one is so important for me. I also am so happy that Covergirl is cruelty free now, so I’m more inclined to support them, and buy their products!

Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Eyeliner: $24.00
I’ve never been very interested in gel eyeliner, but I received this in my BoxyCharm a few months ago. I have to say compared to others, it has really great staying power, and it glides on easily. After much trial and error, I suggest using an angled brush, rather than a thin long brush, because it makes application more precise. When I use that brush, I am able to get a really thin line on the top of my lid, and really blend it into my eyelashes.

KKW Crystal Gardenia by Kim Kardashian: $60.00
Although this product isn’t beauty related, I am highly recommending it to all my followers because it is the best perfume I’ve tried in a while! I featured it in my last Ulta Haul, and briefly mentioned it. I wanted to go a little further in depth about why I love it so much. Every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. It has a very light, floral scent, which is my favorite type of perfume. I also find it lasts longer than a lot of my other perfumes. When I saw it at Ulta, I expected it to be upwards of $100, but its reasonably priced at $60.00, and you get 75 ml, which is about 2.5 fl. oz.!!

I hope you enjoyed reading about all the products I’ve been loving this past February! I’m excited to share my favorites from March in the near future. 1. Good to know the Pretty Vulgar gel eyeliner has good staying power 🙂 I have it too, bought it a while ago but have been scared to try it because I’ve seen a lot of reviews where people say it smudges like crazy throughout the day. Maybe it’s just on oily lids?
