I don’t know how everyone else feels, but I am relieved it’s the summer time! The warm weather puts me in such a better mood, and I always have more time to get tasks done, and stay organized. I’m going to share some of my favorite products I’ve been using to start the summer.
The BrowGal by Tonya Crooks Instatint in ’02’: $22.00 I’ve never really been into using a browgel. However, I’ve been using this brow tint recently before I use an eyebrow pencil. I brush my brows up in the front, and groom them at the ends so they look shaped. Once I do this, I use less eyebrow pencil and it makes them look more natural. I tend to go for a more natural look in the summer, so this really helps create the look I’m going for.
Kylie Cosmetics Gloss in ‘Koko K’: $15.00 I’ve tried so many lip glosses, and I still can say Kylie’s formula is my favorite. I love the way it applies without being too sticky, and it has so much color pigmentation. This specific gloss is a new shade for me. It’s a cool tone, light pink, and is just an elevated shade of my own lip color. It’s my go to if I need to quickly apply something, and it stays on so well, even through a meal!
Japonesque Velvet Touch Blush in ’01’: $29.99 I usually transition out my winter blush shades and replace them with corals and peach blushes around April. This just ensures that I use all the products I have, and am using the correct colors based on the season. With this, I always am reminded how much I love different colors and products. This Japonesque blush was a bit of an impulse buy for a me, but it has so much pigmentation, and the blush is so soft and buttery. I love the way it looks whenever I wear it. This is a definite recommendation for me if you are in the mood for a coral blush!
Revolution Beauty Conceal and Define Concealer in ‘C3’: $7.00 The Revolution Beauty concealer is a repurchase for me, and I forgot how much I love it! The concealer is just as full coverage as the Tarte shape tape, but easier to blend. The price is also much better for someone on a budget, like me! They have lots of shades to choose from, and I think it would work on a lot of skin tones and skin types.
That’s all for my May favorites. I have a lot of great posts planned for the summer, so get excited for some new content!
