I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but I am a grad student. I feel really bad I wasn’t able to get this post up sooner, but I was focused completely on midterms. I really needed to get all my assignments done, so I am able to enjoy the holiday break with my family! However, I did still want to share a few products I was using a ton in November. I hope you enjoy reading, and let me know in the comments if you end up trying any of these!
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist: $15.00
I had not used this product in a while, but picked it up when I was walking through target. I forgot how great it was! It’s a rose scented mist, and I use it for multiple things. First, it’s a great setting spray to apply after you finish your makeup. I also apply it before my makeup, because I like the added moisture it gives my skin prior to foundation. The second use it has for me is to wet a brush before applying eyeshadow. With glitter shades especially, I find if you don’t wet the brush, it’s really difficult to get the shadow to stick, and fallout is almost inevitable. Of course, the product is also from the drugstore, and is a pretty decent size, so it makes it a good buy!
Benefit Rockateur Blush: $30.00
I only have a sample size of this blush, because it came in a travel pack, but the color is so beautiful, I had to include it! It’s a rose gold shade, with a peachy undertone. I really like it in the winter, when I’m a little bit paler. It gives a great flush, and is easy to build up, or tone down. I am a really big fan of Benefit blushes, so if you are in the market for a new one, definitely check out Benefit’s products!
Luxie Beauty Tapered Highlighter Brush 522: $9.60 (Originally $24.00)
I don’t usually include brushes in my favorites posts, because I wasn’t sure if it was of interest to anyone. But this specific brush is on sale, and it’s a must have! I use it every day to apply highlight. The packed bristles allow for precise application on the bridge of the nose, and on the cupid’s-bow, but also is fluffy enough that it spreads the highlight evenly on my cheek bones. The whole rose-gold collection from Luxie Beauty is amazing, so definitely check it out! I got three of the brushes in a Boxycharm last year, and have loved them ever since.
Again, I apologize for not getting this post up earlier in the month, but I still felt it was valuable to share with you all! Don’t forget to like this post if you want to see more favorites posts, and follow my blog for more beauty insight!
