This is, hopefully, my last month of Accutane! I’m so excited to almost be done. I was scrolling through old photos on my phone, and I can’t believe how much my skin has changed. I had so much texture, and cystic spots I was reminded of how painful it was, and how life changing this entire experience has been for me. My dosage has been moved down to 60mg, because I actually am suffering from Eczema due to the medication. It’s a relatively normal side effect, but I have patches on my hands, and upper arms. I also am looking to buy a humidifier for when I sleep, because I have been getting quite a few bloody noses. However, it’s been managed with a little bit of saline solution.
I haven’t noticed too much of a change in the scars, or my skin texture. It’s remained pretty stagnant, but again, the overall results are astonishing. I’ve been applying lots of moisturizer, and chapstick, to keep up with my dry skin.
As always my progress photos are below. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments. I am by no means an expert, but I can share any information I have about Accutane so far. I can also ask my doctor if there is a particular question I cannot answer. Be sure to consult your own doctor if you are considering Accutane. They are your best reference point! Thank you so much for reading. Be sure to follow my blog for more updates on my Accutane journey, and of course follow for more beauty insight!
